Tony L. Atterbury
Tony Atterbury works primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury litigation, and oil and gas law. He recently represented several defendants charged with federal crimes, including one indicted for violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Tony was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and received his B.S. degree in chemistry with a minor in mathematics from Friends University, Wichita, Kansas, in 1998, and his Juris Doctor degree (magna cum laude) from Washburn University School of Law in 2001. While in law school, Tony served as Notes editor of the Washburn Law Journal and participated in the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity and Law Student Division of the American Bar Association.
Tony is a member of the Wichita Area Petroleum Landmen, Kansas Independent Oil & Gas Association (KIOGA), Downtown Y’s Men’s Club of Wichita and Wichita Crime Commission. He is also a member of the Kansas Bar Association and currently Chairman of the Diversity Committee for the Wichita Bar Association.
